other than the compresion and the kick start i think they are the same as on the 300ex

I HAVE ALL SPECS . I HAVE THE SERVICE MANUAL FOR THAT BIKE AND NO THE 300EX MOTER IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT THE REST IS THE SAME . THE 300EX HAS 11.1 COMP THE 250X HAS 12 .1 COMP SAME BORE DIFFERINT STROKE

 

So can I use 300ex shocks for my 1991 250x? Thanks Eric

 

The shock absorber part numbers are different, this doesn't mean they are different, but the only way to tell is to compare the two. Honda dealers may be able to tell you, as they will have come across the problem of unavailable shocks for the 250, and found a "work around."
