I would pay that money, just look at the 700SP your paying 7,300$ for that!! If the 700 is worth that much the rincon should be double.

Well, this is going to **** some people off but I have to say something. The Rincon is a beautiful ATV, but no way is it worth $7,600.00. I mean what are you getting for the money? Drum breaks up front, and no locking front diff. The engine is not even very impressive, a 4 valve single cylinder “pushrod” motor of 649cc with a single 37mm carb. How do they think that it is going to compete? Even the Grizzly has a 5-valve overhead cam engine with a 42mm Mikuni. Let's face it; an engine is an air pump. The more air it can move, the more power it can produce. We already see that the Grizzly has 11cc more engine displacement, and more breathing ability. So we have to admit that the Rincon won't be able to make as much power as the Grizzly, it has less suspension travel, no locking front diff, and out dated drum beaks. Sure the transmission is different, but not in a good way. It's a 3 speed automatic! So much for always being in the right gear with only 3 speeds. I don't even like a 3-speed auto in my car; less known a machine that I want to climb monster hills in all types of terrain. I'm not saying this to bash Honda, I'm saying this because I feel Honda is trying to rip us all off! They want to charge us $7,600.00, but they don't want to give us anything for our money! Come on guys, don’t let your selves be fooled by a pretty package, look beneath the bodywork, and try to find the engineering that will justify the $7,600.00 price tag. It’s simply not there. I am purposely not making any comparisons to the Prairie 650, because I want it understood that I am not just bashing Honda because I own a Kawasaki. This isn’t about brand bashing, it’s about engineering and features offered for the money. With the Rincon, Honda seam’s to be trying to “copy” the Grizzly, but sadly enough, without the extra features, and for a lot more money!

Thanks for not hating me phaskell. I like Hondas to, I have owned a few and I would like to own another one. I think that is why the Rincon ticks me off so much. Honda had the chance to make an awesome 4x4 sport utility, and they blew it.

WoW, sorry to say this...but not really impressed with it. I really had my hopes up on a SUPER quad...was getting excited hearing all the rumors on it and what a let down.

Do you think this will hurt Honda? I am sure that there are DIE-HARD honda fans that will buy one anyways, but do you really think that this machine will be able to compare?

I love the ATV industry and am always stoked for the "new and better" quads. The griz will not be the only one that i will own. BUT, there will have to be something that will be better before i buy something else. I will end up trying the Kaw/polaris. Looks like Honda will not have my business for awhile...

I couldnt agree with you more, I also believe Honda makes a great quad but the Rincon lacks many features that are standard on less expensive machines. There are many people who willl only buy a Honda but as consumers we should not buy into the Rincon way of doing business.

What a rip. Good bike, but my god they are too proud of it. Only the loyal honda guys will go for that price. The iffy guys will shop around. That is $1200 more than I paid for my Grizzly which although it has a rubber band powering it, it does give me full disc brakes and a differential lock option (which by the way saved my *** yesterday coming out of a deep creek in which my rubber band never so much as slipped once)

I have to agree with you guys. I'm pretty disapointed with Honda this year. One new quad and absolutely nothing else execept new colors. I own a Rubicon and on Saturday I'll be picking up an '02 Foreman S. I was waiting to see if Honda would include Traxlok across the line, but of course they didn't. I love my Ruby and Honda's in general, but Honda is getting left way behind by the competition. If they don't get their act together, I'm afraid my future purchases will probably be another brand.

As far as the $7,600 price tag, that won't last very long, only the people who have to have the latest and greatest will pay that. Comparable models from other brands are selling for over $1,000 less than that price tag, and as noted before, they have more features. If I was in the market for a 650cc/700cc ATV I honestly would not buy the Rincon at that price. Even if it was comparably priced, the only selling point for me would be brand loyalty as I think the grizzly is a better machine. I really hope the Rincon stays pasted to the showroom floors so Honda will wake up and smell the coffee, but they will probably sell all they can make just because it's a "Honda", and that is really sad.
