I BLEW THE FRONT SHAFT ON MY WOLVERINE. I RODE IT HOME, REPLACED IT BUT IT MADE A FUNNY SOUND SO I HAD A DEALER FIX IT....THE PRICE $1400.00 AND THAT IS WITH COST ON PARTS AND 50% ON LABOR BECAUSE OF CONNECTIONS. EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT POSSIBLY IN A WOLVERINE TRANSMISSION WOULD HAVE TOTALED $1400.00?

I have a problem too. My 97 big bear needs a new block. They said the starter sprokets dug into the aluminum and we found shavings in the oil. Around 1200$ to fix it the right way. although i could just pull start it .

Keat, if you are mechanically inclinded then get a factory service manual, the ones used by dealer mechanic & do it your self. $1400 is WAY to much money.

HEADING ON THE MOUNTAIN, RIPPING PRETTY FAST, MY FRONT SHAFT BLEW UP MORE OR LESS. SALVAGED SOME PARTS, DROVE IT HOME.
