if you get a grizzly then you are going to have major problems the cooling system sucks it is just one fan in the front no liquid coolent and with a engine that big you did liquid cooled im always hearing of peoples grizzly overheating my friend has one it in the shop half the time. my sugesttion is to get a polaris 500 it the best atv on the market if you need any info e mail me or just write in forums

Lets start the rumors and maybe Yamaha will listen.
2001 Grizzly based on a combination of the existing Grizzly and the 2000 Kodiak. It will remain 600CC and add liquid cooling. It will have disk brakes all the way around. It will keep its 2WD/4WD On Command switching. It will keep the same frame dimensions so I can move my winch and plow over directly from my 98 without having to spend more money. The will have an additional handlebar mounted headlight for better evening riding. It will have a rear mounted backup light. It will have both forward and rear 12V plugins for accesories. The front bumper will be made out of something stronger than tin. You will be able to get it in a camo package similiar to the Polaris Remington edition. It will maintain an unbelievable amount of ground clearance and suspension travel. It will have the tighest turning radius in the industry. It will have lots of dry storage areas to carry tie downs, ****** block and extension cables. And all of this will be accomplished without adding weight or cost. Oh, and of course it will have a 1 year no questions asked warranty.
