I know there have been some post on this topic already, however I wanted to see if any new RSE owners are experiencing the same problem. I just bought a new SP500HO RSE and before I could ever put one mile on it, the camo peeled off the headlight pod. It happended when I was trailering it to Broken Bow OK in a rain storm. The force of the rain hitting it on the highway peeled the camo right off. The dealer replaced it and claimed that they have never experienced camo peeling off these machines(hard to believe after reading these post). I'm worried now to even wash the thing. Anyone have a late model RSE or DU with peeling problems ?

I have had my RSE since last October. I have 4000 PSI washers for my line of work, so I thought I would use one to wash the quad. MISTAKE. I thought I was doing good at peeling the warning stickers off when I looked down to see no camo and just plain green. Ever since I keep it WAY away when washing. Where it did come up though, it has not peeled since. Even though I had a brain fart, I still think it is pretty tough. I go through trees and briars all the time.

Mine did that,
I called the dealer
he ordered new plastic
had it in a week later
put it on the next day
No problems 1700 miles later

Common problem caused reportedly by many different factors. Polaris replaced all of my plastic as the RSE camo was coming off here there and everywhere in the first couple of months. They thought possibly from a bad prep job in applying the camo but I think likely from either the Pwasher or others have claimed that armor-all softens it up and it just peels off. I quit using armor-all and been much more carefull with the pressure washer and have not lost a speck in over 1000 miles of snow, swamp or mountain.

Good Luck
