Its not really that bad on mine. I dont know about the standard race cut. I left my fenders almost the same width just under my face. It really doesnt bother me at all. Now when I get in mud or water, I covered from head to toe but thats just plain fun to me.

I went riding today, and because of the weather (you ohians know what i'm talkin' about) it was crazy, mud everywhere! All in all, it wasn't too bad. The rears fling so much, that the only diff. with the fronts gone is wet sleeves from going through water-hole's fast.

If you're gonna get dirty, get totally covered. Either way you'll have to take a shower and the dirtier, the funner.
I've never had problems with getting mud thrown every where. On my 300ex, the mud seemed to be thrown over the front of the fenders and then it would hit me, and when I shaved those fenders, it didn't get any worse. The Dale has little fenders anyways, so I went ahead and shaved them. There isn't much wind resistance but it looks good, and it's good to see your front tires in a MX race when a lot of times you come within 1/2 an inch from a bail with someone 1/2 an inch on the other side and if I would have had full fenders, I probably would have hit the bails (since you can't really see exactly where your tires are). And when the face of the jumps get a little rough, it's good to see where you jump from to help you stay straight in the air... every advantage helps.
250rampage - looks good.
