how much power is needed for a 400EX to race MX?

what do you guys see on MX tracks around the country?
is anyone racing modified stock bore EX's? & if so, how are they doing?
or is everyone running 416's & 440's on the MX track?
there is a guy I heard of that practices here at the Seaford Speedway that kills on a modified (cam, piston, pipe, etc.)but not bored out 400EX... not even any suspesion upgrades either... I think he just reversed his front wheels and has a steering stabalizer.

Seaford is pretty nice
it is huge...
3 laps around that and I'm hurtin'
there are plenty of doubles, of all sizes... the biggest is 90' crest to crest, probably 15'-18' high!
there are to HUGE tabletops
not really any open stretches though... just jump after jump
it was originally designed for dirtbikes only, so it's not that wide...
but they maintain it well
