Well I talked to you Sat. at Wayne, but didn't know it was you. I was with the 3 other guys who were admiring your 650 in the lot at the concession stand. I was on the green Eiger (got rid of my 250EX) I was with a blue Wolverine (my brother), red Prairie and blue Trail Blazer.

BK---- That's too bad that we DIDN'T know we were meeting! I almost asked about that Eiger, how they handle, etc., but was a little tired, and short on time. I had just ridden, non-stop, from the New Straitsville trailhead with a dirtbike guy who was hard to keep in sight! I couldn't find anyone to ride with, so I hooked up with three dirtbikers. I think that they were a little surprised when they saw that I was always back there, with in sight anyway! Of course, I couldn't stay RIGHT with them, but could usually keep 'em in sight! Better than riding alone. I don't do that. Too easy to run off the trail into one of those deep hollows and NEVER be found!!!!!
Hope to "officially" meet you soon. You now know what I look like, but I am not sure which of the 3 guys YOU were! Did you check out my ITP "C" series wheels? You couldn't tell if they had a bright finish at that point! The Spiders and the Sur-Trax work great in WNF.
Maybe we can hook up some time at WNF, or H/M.

I was the guy half bald with short hair. The one with the beard was my brother. We were a little tired ourselves by that point. We had ridden from New Straightsville to Dorr Run and back at a pretty good pace. We were showing the kid on the T Blazer and his dad on the 300 Prairie around their first trip to Wayne. The Eiger has been a pleasant surprise for me. I got it because I recently got 9 acres of woods to turn into a home and play place. I have been trying to drag trees and stuff with my 250EX and realized I needed to break down and get a utility machine. I got the Eiger because it had good top end speed (upper 50's) but still had low range for work. When I actually got it on the trails I found out that it had a very decent suspension and was a good jumper. I still feel a little weird getting up in the air on a nearly 600 pound machine, but it lands nice, so I do it more and more. I am pretty evenly matched with my brother's Wolverine speed wise. It has a nice torquey motor and except for the slow rocky hills I rarely have to shift out of 4th gear. I have 106 miles on it so far and 96 of those came from the last 2 Saturdays at Wayne. It is a great place to break in a machine. We will have to hook up sometime on the trails for sure. You were there the Saturday before too weren't you? I thought I saw you in Dorr Run that day. See you on the trail.

BK-- Yeah I was there Sat.,but not Sun. I am curious about the Vinson, too. That Eiger is 400cc and 2WD? 600# seems a little heavy. My P-650 weighs in at @635# ready to ride/604#dry.
Hope to talk/ride with you at some point. We camp quite often at Camp Ohio, just W. of SR595. Drop by if you are in the neighborhood.
We'll be there this coming w.e. 5/18-5/19. Black enclosed V-nosed snomobile trlr, red GMC, red P-650, red Recon.

It is 542# dry. With 4 gallons of gas and gear (and mud) it has to be close to 600. It doesn't feel that heavy, it is just a big change from a 350# sport machine! We are probably going to be there Sunday this weekend. I'll know for sure later in the week. I'll let you know.
