i was thinking of getting a older air cooled xr 650 and putting the motor in my 400ex frame. do you guys thin that it would work?? i bet it would have a$hitload of power!!! or are there any other suggestions for a motor swap?? thanxx

I seen it done once somewhere on the internet. You may have to reinforce your frame, but i aint for sure maybe you wont. I dont think them bansees would be wanting much to do with a 650EX.......lol if you get it done let me know i would like to see some pics of it, i would like to have more power outa my 400EX but i do alot of all night riding on the weekends and i cant get a pipe cause it will wake everyone up when i make trips down the road.

 

The old air cooled xr was actually a 600...oz_400ex
