Well it just so happened the Z71 died on while hauling the sport 400. I guess you "might be a redneck" if you ride the 4 wheeler back into town for help.Anyway it made a long, long walk into a short ride on the shoulder of the road. The ride was alright, besides the constant thought of a state trooper busting me and getting fire ants on the floor boards. Any thoughts or similar experiences. A new distributor was needed.Just thought I'd share this.Later

This may be a dumb question but I have seen advertised on traderonline where some people are selling there four wheeler and they say they are street legal. Is there states where 4 wheelers are actually "street legal"?

I went and test drove a DS 650 last night. This was in the country farmlands of Indiana. The guy that owned the DS said they were street legal in that county with proper tagging. I imagine in rural areas around the country you can find that munincipalities have adopted statutes to allow for atv's on the road, mainly because of their use for farming.

Wow BIGGIN, that is great. I too thought if it happened to me I would do the same. Why walk if I have wheels available?

In the Michigan U.P. I am told all state forest roads are open to ATVs.

I also have thought alot about how it would more "convienent" if the truck broke down with the atv in the back. I guess if you think about it enough it'll happen sooner or later.I wish they were street legal in SC. I'd ride it eveywhere.I dont know if I'd actually save any gas. The sport is somwhat thirsty, but not to bad.
