My brother has been waiting for a refurb for several weeks too. I hope they come in soon for you guys. What a sweet deal! My best tip is to hang on and try not to hurt yourself

Well from what I've seen and heard, you should be pleasantly surprised when your refurbished unit comes in. Apparently they all come in with new motors, new plastic, the new MC1000 computer. Most all that I've seen have the Ohlin shocks, some even had the hydraulic clutch and some have even had the reinforced swingarm. I've heard a couple people even mention they could see absolutely no indication of wear on the quad anywhere!! Some have paid as little as $5000 for these also, so be patient and you should be extremely happy once it arrives!!

I don't know about all this refurb stuff. Personally, I think it's a C-dale marketing ploy. How can you have vin numbers on the refurbs? That come after the vin numbers on regular Cannibals, if the refurbs are supposed to all be fx's updated to Cannibals. If they have the ability to stop the production line to make changes, why would they be so behind on that, maybe it's just to get some more affordable machines out there for the beginnig of the racing season and summer. The old win on sunday sell on monday. I would like to know what the titles say. Keep searching the answers out there.

You have to go back and look at what C'dale's incentive was when this refurbished program first started. If I recall, the Moto's had not been out long and many dealers were relunctant to take delivery of such a high priced quad and most did not stock them. So C'dale came up with this program to entice their dealers to take a refurbished unit as long as they took a Moto also. Now whether all the dealers had to do this or did do this, I don't know but that is how this refurbished program got started. Maybe Knowsalot will read this and chime in.
If I remember correctly, the title indicates a refurbished unit. As far as the VIN numbers, you have to have VIN numbers. It makes no difference if it's a new or refurbed unit, it still has to have a VIN number.
All I know, for those of you lucky few who have bought these refurbished units, you're getting the most bang for the buck, especially if you only had to pay $5000 for them!

I know that. Why are some of the VINS on the refurbs higher then ? If there supposed to be old Fx frame maybe some of these refurbs are just demos that these guys got smokin deals on. That would make a little more sense of it all.

Once you get your Twist Throttle installed; as stated above I think your only concern will be holding on and trying to get the smile off of your face. I hope they get here soon as well. Later Mike

Thanks for the replys on the refurbs, they are to be here within the next 24 hours.Yeah Mike, the twist throttle and those carbon fiber wheels, skid plates,nerfs,T2 bars with hand guards should get me started. One tip I saw was concerning the 500 vs 1000 computer. It was stated one had a big green starter button and the other had a small one.Sight glass for oil was another.I know there are many more of these ways to make sure it's not one of the one you don't want.Come on guys dig into those brain banks
