Some more info. on mine. It's #888. The frame has the black plugs in the front of the frame and the trans. peep window, and Arvin's on front. I didn't ask about the 'puter, I expect it's the 1000 from what I was told. I will have to call and ask specifically, though.

I'm pretty disappointed about the shocks. Honestly, it's made me have second thoughts. If I have to pay full price for shocks, I might be better off on the Z. It has lots more motor mods(that I can ease into a little at a time) available that I have read will bring the power way over a 'dale. The reason for my concern, is that I don't know and haven't heard of anyone else in the Richmond area that will be doing any racing. We've got a huge MX track about to open at the VA Motorsports Complex and I want to go whoop some Honda-Yammie booty! I was intending on being able to send the shocks to Ohlins for rezzies and springs that would handle the track. I was hoping to be able to spend the money on other parts of the bike besides the shocks. I'll do what I can to make the 'dale look good on the track, I hope the Arvin's will be up to the task.
I guess I'm still planning on making the 10 hour drive next Friday, I just won't be smiling quite as big.

JCV, yeah the were at the same place-Marchum's ATV(for those that don't know). I noticed your Big Gun pipe a while back and had a hunch you had bought it from Terry. He's prolly' about tired of hearing from me. Your the lucky one, got the Ohlin's and Hydro clutch.

I might have some front Ohlins that I can sell you at a decent price. The guy I sold them to has a TRX250R and he says they don't fit. If you really want them, I can get them back from the guy and sell them to you. You won't want the stock Cannibal shocks on the MX track. Let me know, JIM

NRATH, I wouldn't get the quad if you don't think you're going to be happy with it. One thing you need to keep in mind, the '03's are coming real soon and you know the dealers are going to have some left over quads to try and get rid of. You can probably get some pretty good deals if you want to wait!

The Z may have more engine mods available, but you're going to have to spend $1500 - $2000 to get the engine to run with a piped and mapped CDale. (pipe, harness/cdi, cams, piston, carb)

Doesn't sound like a good deal to me.

Stock for stock the CD puts out about 5HP more to the rear tires than the Z does. The CD is lighter, has a better chassis, and has more trick components.

The Z is a slightly faster 400EX.
