for a baja what would be the next step in upgrading for speed, torque, and over all preformance if you already had

pipe, air filter, jetted, cdi, sprockets, and tires?

keeping in mind a price factor of under $1,000.

my guess would be piston and cams and then a carb ugrade. You might be able to get all the parts for under $1000. But I dont know.

You should be able to buy high comp piston a set of cams and a 42mm flat slide carb and all the gaskets for the job. Right around 1,100 bucks thats if you do the work your self.

piston and cams are over $800. Dont forget the $250 springs!
