Hello,
I'm writing to inform everyone about the recent trajedy that happened saturday at the Danville Nationals. My little brother, Cody Hurst who raced the air cooled class was killed in a horrible accident. Cody lived to ride and race and had been doing it all his life, actually our whole family has been riding forever. We all think that things like this will never happen to us, but inevitably it does. I would like to thank all who donated at the races because we had no insurance, and for those who helped the family with what needed to be done, it has been a huge help.
The viewing hours will be wednesday at 6pm 6-12-02 at auble funeral home in orrville Ohio, all who raced with us , or any of you who feel a part of the racing family, are invited to come. The funeral will take place Thursday 6-13-02 at 2pm, and all are invited then also. Phone # of funeral home 330-682-2966
IMMEDIATELEY FOLLOWING THE FUNERAL WILL BE AN ATV PROCESSION, so please bring your quad and park at the church beside the funeral home. Thank you and I know your thoughts are with us all as ours are with you. Donations should be sent to

I sincerely hope your brother passed away doing what he loved as we all wish we could. My prayers go out to you, your family and all of, I'm sure, his many friends; who hopefully will help you all get through this tough time.

John
