Make sure you unplug it from up by the front of the fuel tank and completely remove the wire.

What kind of machine did you remove the parking brake from? So we know what wires you are talking about.

first remove the front nose piece. now you can see where the wires go. One of the wires turns into the two ends of a bullet connector. plug them together. the second wire can just be disconnected. Cover this one with a finger off a rubber glove and ty-wrap it so nothing can get into it(water, dirt). Now you can put on a aftermarket perch. good luck.

Actually it depends on if you are talking about the neutral saftey switch or the parking brake switch. Being that you said parking brake you can unplug it or cut it. If it is the oppiste I think its what rraptorr13 said, mine is still there just tucked behind the radiator.

Sorry. Actually I removed both and replaced the clutch perch and lever. Much cleaner, and I went with a CR perch better throw. Worked out very nicely.

the guy before that had my quad just cut all the wires to and from the parking brake and took all the parking brake stuff off but anyway could that be why my neutral light doesn't work? the light socket has power, ive replaced bulbs and it still doesn't work and i think its a ground somewhere but any ideas? thanks
