Enough Lurking
#1
Okay, enough lurking in the forum. I have a 2000 DS650, and I have been a very frequent visitor to this forum since around Oct 2000. I have learned so much from this forum and enjoyed it so much that I now need to make myself known. I live in Portland OR, and trail ride mostly in the coast range, and in the sand at Sandlake. I have not thought of my self as someone who really had anything much to contribute over the excellent information provided by experts. I have gained so much that I at least needed to make myself know and thank you all. Who knows, perhaps I will contribute some insight some day. The DS650 community is awesome!

Welcome, I have always wonderd why more people just dont speak up. I guarntee each and every one of you have had some kind of experience with your quads. Even if it was just a very good time out riding one weekend, tell us about it!! One of the best things so far about being active on here is being able to meet some of these people on here. I have yet to meet anyone that I did not very much enjoy meeting.

Welcome and it is about time. I have a good friend I ride with who reads the posts, but wont post himself.
I tell him it is because he rides a girls bike (400ex)
Just kidding, but I do wish he would post more. He has questions, and asks me all the time, but I dont have a 400, so I cant always answer him.
Well, anyway welcome aboard.

Marky, I don't think we ever have ridden together. I think I saw you once at Sandlake, but I couldn't catch up. I also think I was there when you were there partying with Cliff R., but I didn't stick my nose into your camp. I do hope to meet up sometime though. I really appreciate all of your contributions to the forum. I did hook up with Sand45 down at Sanklake a month or so ago. He said that your quad was out of service that particular weekend. I am planning on heading to Sandlake sometime between now and the 4th, but not over the 4th. Too packed for me.

Marky,
I am in for a Sandlake adventure this weekend. I can only have fun on Saturday because the wife has plans for me on Sunday. I plan on taking off from Portland (actually the Beaverton area) about 8:00am. That will put me at Sandlake by about 9:30. I will probably ride until about 4 or 5 and then head back. Do you still plan on going? If so, when? Do you want to set up a time or place to hook up?
Sand45,
Can you come out and play too? I am not bringing my CR500 buddy, so we are safe there.
Anyone else?
