I purchased a billet aluminum gas cap from Alba and it came with a matching billet rear brake fluid reservoir cap. So I put both caps on and during my first subsequent ride, the brake reservoir cap somehow came off. I know it was on tight when I left, but it was gone when I returned. So how about it...have you guys ever had this happen to you? My advice is beware of replacement break reservoir caps!

No, I didn't find it. I was riding the Oregon dunes at the time, so there wasn't much chance of ever seeing it again. Fortunately, I packed the stock cap with all my stuff, so I was able to flush & bleed the fluid, put the old cap back on, and continue riding. The closest Bombardier dealer is in Eugene, so if you need parts while visiting Coos Bay/North Bend, you're kinda' SOL. I still had a great time though, and the Bomb is absolutely awesome in the sand. It climbs everything, handles the whoops better than any other quad out there, and when you land off of jumps, it feels like you're hitting a pillow! I'm a big fan of the Banshee at the dunes, but I'll be selling mine and riding my Baja exclusively from now on!

Yes, I ride my brothers DS in the dunes from time to time. The suspension is very plush and smooth. Fortunatly for me, I can go anywhere he can.

Call Alba, see if they'll do anything for you. Even if they wont, they should know that their caps are falling off and that maybe they should do something to refine the process. It seems to me, if they wont give you a new one free, at least half price or something is warranted.

Unless there were extra insctuctions that came with it and said "Don't use this cap while not riding on pavement, the additional vibration of off highway riding can cause the unit to become dislodged." (a joke)
