Fubared stock exhaust
#1
Dont ask how. Some dumba@@ tried going up a hill that was too steep yesterday. My modified endcap is ruined as well as my stock slip on(it bent/cripmed right next to the shock). I really liked the way the endcap that I had on there looked. I had a 2.5 inch hole cut in it with a nice chrome exhaust end piece in it. Now I dont know whether to just replace the slip on with an aftermarket or buy someones used stock and have a better looking and almost as well performing exhaust. Luckily that was the only thing injured during the rollover.

Rockey,
that sucks about your exhaust man, i know how you feel though. a "friend" decided he would help me out by changing my oil for me once, , overfilled it and had to have a new gaskets installed. thank god it didnt seriously screw anything up. but then again i did once blow out my friends rear-end in his '01 Silverado ( fault parts but we werent exactly cruising around either ). Would a good condition stock exahust be more $ than an aftermarket? i think id go with an aftermarket pipe unless you have a decibel rating you need to stay under. what kind of db's do those mod end caps produce??? just curious

Mine wasn't bad at all. It had a nice throaty rumble to it andslightly louder than stack at all rpms. I imagine someone that already bought an aftermarket exhaust would still have thier stock one and would be willing to sell it.
