"air screws out 3 turns"
#1
Guys,
Do you mean from completely off, or from factory default settings ?
Do you adjust them the same, even though back cylinder is getting less air?
Stakk and Roc, you guys have been the biggest help at answering my guestions. I feel very knowledgeable, even though I haven't torn into my quad yet. (and the other guys that have helped with my curiosities) THANKS !!

yep,
base settings refer to screws turned all the way in, lightly seated, then back out, to the required amount,
(BTW, don't those needles look strange?)
Stakk, Roc, what were your impressions of the dynojet needles, Vs. the stock ones, as far as taper goes?
I haven't tore into it yet, but I'm still formulating my attack plan..I have stock stuff, & DJ kit, filter, radiator hose to mod for snorkle, & some airbox mods I'd like to try, I need to pick up a radiator cover, & airbox lid, to have stock stuff, incase I change my direction on what I'm doing..
does anyone have a good line on where to get stock jets & pilots, the mikuni are a LOT easier to come up with parts for, I'm finding out..(sudco has anything I want for those)
a work in progress,
when I get to it..
oops, i forgot to answer the other ? you asked..
on my street bikes I did adjust them the same amount, initially, but it was not uncommon for the v 4 to have about 1/8 turn diffrence in the screws, the v twin was not that persnickity..
Roc, Stakk, have you put a rubber tube on the vacum ports to link them together?, I do this on my street bikes, it keeps the carbs in synch a little longer & balances the intake vacum a little, not a lot mind you, but a little..
