I was kind of wondering the same thing, but pretty much gave up on it, I just love the mud and water protection the stockers offer. One of the things I wanted to do was try to drop the weight, and using the lighter fenders and an aftermarket plastic fuel tank would help alot, but I'm sure it would be a major undertaking to fabricate new mounts for everything.

It doesn't look like Honda has any intention of building a sport 4wd, it's too bad because there's alot of Wolverines around.

I have a full set of 250x/300ex fenders for sale. Blue in front and white in rear. Good shape. No cracks. I'll sell for $120.
Email me at MOTOMAN446@aol.com for more information.
