I like seeing sharp Raptors, Especially with a Sparks pipe!
Was there a big crash in it's past? the reason I ask is it looks like it was a black/white Raptor origanally (silver frame) & the blue sub frame.
Is your camera a Sony? I have a Sony Cyber-Shot & they take great pics!

Did the carbs make a big difference or not??? I am interested in a set of FCR's if they are worth the big bucks they cost, I would think they are way better then stock, what are your thoughts on them??

727banshee,
the beadlocks are from HiPer Tech...and they are a composite carbon fiber rim halves with an aluminum billet center...they are about 1 pound lighter than aluminum rims and far stronger and they are able to take a "hit" better without permaneate deflection... a.k.a. they dont get flat spots or bend....as for the price, they are about $10 more than the ITP ultimate beadlocks....weight and strength were something that was extremely important to me...i flat spotted the hell outta the stock rims and i wasnt going the aluminum rim route again...

Mr350x,
You better believe it...i put about 16k into it...did tons of research and built my dream machine...it may not be sand dragster...but it kicks *** on the mx track...

THEMOOSE,
No crash in the past...it was a blue raptor....i had to strip the raptor down to a bare frame to get it fixed...i cracked the frame in three spots jumping it with the insufficient stock suspension...the suspension just wasnt up to my riding skill....i had to get it welded and had it painted silvervein with a silver glitter topcoat...you should see it on a sunny day when it's clean....really sharp...the pictures are good but dont do it justice....Moose, click on one of the pictures on the site to open up a full size high resolution picture to get a closer look...I didnt get the sub frame painted the same because i wanted the color contrast....my camera is a sony cyber-shot...i think it is a ds-70...and on high res...they take great pictures...i wish i had a better backdrop for my pics...but there isnt a sand dune for many miles by me...hehehe....oh yea.....scott posted a picture on the sparks web page....i had to do it....yours looks so lonely there....except mine pic is on the engine parts list page...go check it out....i am proud.....heheheh

Raptorridr660,
If you are going to build your motor, i highly recommend the carbs...they are a huge improvement over stock....the throttle respond and pull it incredible...remember i have the sparks 690 kit with 12.5:1 compression...so i had to get the carbs.....go for it....

Hey Herbdon, That's too cool!!
It's great when a company like Sparks thinks your quad is nice enough to put it on their site!!
That just shows that Sparks doesn't just build great pipes & motors, They have great taste in quads too!!

P.S. My pics Bigger than your Pic!! BAAHAHAHAHA!!
