I just bought a set of stock 01 Grizzly wheels and tires that were new take offs. I bought them for the 25 inch tires and after I got them home I found the lug pattern is the same so I bolted them up.
The front Grizzly wheels have about 1 1/2 inch more offset so my front end is about 3 inches wider now. Runs and handles great. The Grizzly wheels and tires are actually lighter than the stock Wolverines.
Only problem I have is the Wolverine wheels have a countersunk lug nut and the Grizzly wheels are thicker and flat. I turned the lug nuts around backwards and they work fine except I have only about 3/4 of the threads holding and I am afraid they might work loose.
Has anyone done this and was there any problems? Does anyone know if I can find longer wheel studs? Any help appreciated.

Have you tried going to the Yamaha Dealer and checking on the length of Grizzly studs? maybe you can just replace them with the Grizz studs if they are longer. He should also have some lug nuts to fit, too.

95 Wolv..........
You was exactly right.
I went to the dealer and bought 1 Grizzly stud and it is longer and fits my hub right. So I am going back to get 15 more with washers and nuts.
The back wheels have about the same offset as the stock Wolverines,
But the front ones have about a 1 1/2 inch more outward offset than the stock ones, making my front about 3 inches wider than my back.
Will this have any bad effects on a full time 4x4? Any pro's or con's on the front being wider than the back? If I need to I can get a set of spacers for the back to make them equal.

It won't affect your 4 wheel drive system to run wider on front, about the only things I could guess it may change is the turning radius, with 3" more width,it may turn wider, but since geometry was never my strong point,it may be the other way, more offset, sharper turn, anyone out there have experience with this? A couple of spacers in the back to even it out will make the whole set up a little more stable, running wider in front will mean the back won't follow the same rut in the trail, may make a rutted trail a little squirlely handling.
