well...i got the e-series pipe installed. i've got a pro-flo filter and kept the stock jets and settings.

This is exactly what i was looking for...thanks for everyones input. low and mid are noticably more responsive. hopping rocks and logs is a joy now.

i've got the dial-a-jet... but have not installed yet. The warrior carb does not have a screw to drain the float bowls so i'll have to drill one and use a tap and die. i wanted to run the quad a couple of weeks before adding the dial-a-jet. i figure i'll be able to notice if there are any gains worth bragging about.

i'll respond when i install it on sunday.

oh yeah the e-series is LOUD. i'm trying to order the quiet core but everyone seems sold out. anyone know where i can find one? and if i add this will it diminish my gains?

Yes, the quiet core will diminish the power, but it will also diminish your headache from riding. Mine is a Series 1 quiet core which is a tube that slips in before the discs that runs the length of the silencer can. Inside this tube some discs are welded with holes about half the diameter of the core which slows the exhaust down which makes it quieter.
I called Magic Racing (586)254-9117 (www.magicracing.com) and they have Quiet Cores for $37.95. They are excellent people to deal with.

i'm calling them now.

Q. if the quiet core does diminish the gains. whats the point. if it drops the gains minimumly i can live with that. also, can i add more disc to regain my loss from the q-core or is this just catch 22?

hey raptor660rnh wb has a quiet core 2 that does not diminish the power it is supposed to add power or that is what they say. it also lowers the sound as much as the quiet core 1. i don't know much about the tourqe stuffer but will get one if it is a good product.

I've got the WB e-series with the torque stuff installed. I can't really tell you if the TS made any diff because I installed it at the same time as the pipe. I can say that the combo is a big improvement. Alba racing www.albaaction.com sells the TS. I bought it a couple years ago for $32. It's a round piece that fits in the head pipe. It's basically a little tube with the inner dimensions tapering sort of like an hour-glass making some kind of venturi effect. They say it increases back-pressure at low RPM and is no restriction at high rpms.

Hope this helps

Your carb doesn't have a drain? Maybe they have changed since 99, mine has one. Good choice on the e-series.

The Torque Stuffer (that I have) comes from White Bros. part No. 10-003. The WB catalog says "Improves torque, throttle response, and lowers RPM horsepower, yet doesn't effect power at top RPM's. Fit's into the exhaust header at the header-to-cylinder connection. Manufactured from 304 stainless, CNC machined for accuracy." All that being said, it is designed to speed up exhaust flow at low RPM's via the venturi effect. It is a product they first developed for Harley Davidson's and later adapted to several different four stroke motors. When you go to install it you generally have to do about 2 minutes of work with a die grinder to remove a weld bead inside the header flange. After that it pops in and you're good to go.

Concerning the power loss from the Quiet Core, from what I understand the Series 2 (which you're getting) is a refined version of my Series 1. The power loss isn't as much while still providing decent noise reduction. All things considered, the E-Series ProMeg is still one of the best power producing pipes for the Warrior available, even with a quiet core in it. I'm happy with mine.
