When I bought my new 02' Grizz, my salesman at the dealer told me there was no toolkit that was supposed to come with it... My response was "your on crack right, since when doesn't a tool kit come with a bike, what do you suppose that little pocket and rubber band is supposed to be for under the seat then...whatever". I didn't really feel like arguing with the guy over a tool kit. Is there anything special in it that I should have argued over, such as a plug wrench that is anything specific worth grumbling back at him over?

Yes in the kit they have a plug wrench which actually works very well for the grizz. It also has a 17mm wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, and maybe a thing or two else. The only thing I've used in the plug wrench set up.

If you have a problem in the middle of the woods, You will fast realize why you should demand a toolkit. If he hesitates call Yamaha, toolkits come with the bikes.

I don't think it is any diff then the kits on the other bikes. Just go poke around at the dealership and "take" one from a floor model. That is prob what happened to yours anyway

I would assume the dealer gets the for next to nothing

That burns my ***.....i would DEMAND that he give you a tool kit. I wouldnt care if i NEVER used it and it wasnt even worth 10 cents. Its part of the bike and YOU bought it.

If your dealer is that way, just think if you ever need something fixed, serviced, or looked at. Better be finding another dealer for your service work. IMO
