I want to know how long I can keep the oil in my 400EX. I only ride my atv once a year because I am working out of the country. Is it safe to leave the oil in for about a years time? How often do I need to change the oil in order for my atv to be in good condition. I want to make sure when I do get back and fire the thing up it will be in perfect condition.

The atv is also on a stand so none of the tires are touching the floor. Can shocks have a long shelf life if not being used?
