well, im not sure what this color means but where the plug sparks it's gray. I really have no idea what that means, is it to much or to less or good? thanks

First, lets get you familiar with the names of the various parts of the plug that indicate proper jetting. The L shaped piece which is over the electrode is the ground electrode. This should be a tan or light brown color. If that is what is grey, you're quite lean and can cause damage to your engine...burned piston, scored cylinder, broken rings, etc.
The porcelain part inside the body of the plug is the insulator...that also should be a tan color all down into the inside of the plug. Pay no attention to the color of the threaded portion of the plug..it will be dark or black. However, excessively oily threads may indicate another problem, especially on 2 strokes.
