got all the bugs worked out on my sportman 400 2 stroke. runs great. i am using amsoil 80:1 premix. factory settings is 30 piolt jet, 200 main, and needle in middle pos, air screw adj, 1 1/2 turns out. my question is it does not smoke at all and most of the riding i do is mid throttel, i do alot of mud riding. it gets good gas milege as well. i have a freind that runs his in the fourth pos. just for insurance purposes. i droped mine to the fourth and it diffently smokes now and the gas milege is not near as good. i dont want to do another engine rebuild but what do yall think about running it in the middle clip position like the factory calls far. i know smoke is good but if i will be alright i would prefere to not have it.
