Needle & Seat, Carb
#2
Is there any marking stating what type of carb it is. I am trying to think what they had back then. VM and TM were Mikuni's most used. If you can find the type, go to your local Parts Unlimited dealer and they can order genuine Mikuni parts.
Your login is Truckracer. Do you drag or what? If so what do you have.

It's a flat slide. I haven't taken the time to inspect it further.

Being flatslide it is a TM (used on same year model Suzuki dirtbikes also). Parts Unlimited dealer should be able to get you one.
Never took mine to the track. On street I out run my friends 71 chevy by about 3-4 lengths (he runs 6.23 in the eighth). We are both traction limited on slicks and N20. Another friend is building a blown 509 for a 83 chevy.
Its a 68 ford sporting a 521 BB w/ C&S Dominator on race gas. I have played with the alky idea, but I put many street miles on it and I hate to wash my rings that badly. Might have to anyway if that 509 runs well. FRPP just released the new SCJ heads though! New valve angles means new pistons. Where does it end?
