I know this subject has been beat to death, but I still would like some additional input on riders perceptions of which pipe is the best? I only ride my quad in the sand, and at elevations from 4000-5000 feet. Local shops recomend Sparks,Pro circit t-4, Yoshimura,
I realy like the power of the DMC, but hear they and the CT. pipe are Quite difficult to jet properly (at my elevation). what is going to work the best, for pure sand dune riding? I mostly use low to mid range power, some top end on longer hills, if I can pull it.

Here ya go..
Full Big Gun, Graydon, DMC,
Ten holes in lid
K&N filter in stock airbox set up
1&5/8 and 1&3/4 out on air screws
150/155 main jet
Clip in number four spot from top

I had this done on an engine EGR analyzer at South Valley Motorsports.....
These are pipes I've tried...The BG has the most low end of the three. DMC revs the best, Graydon is a very good choice also. This is seat of the pants riding at LS, Utah....Slip on's were a good, BG, GYTR, HMF, value but the full systems all worked better...Good luck.

Thanks for the imput Guys, Sandgod, what size holes in the air box, and what type of jets were put in? Did the big gun system have good gains through the mid range also?

King raptor, why just a slip on and not a full system?

I cant beleve that know one has any info on the Yoshimura system!!

Moose, what about that sparks pipe? where are its gains felt?

I have the full race titanium Yoshi. I love the gains it gave, seems to have added good power throughout the range. It was a very expensive sytem though, I have some friends that have the yoshi comp series which is quite a bit cheaper and they have liked what they gained from it.

SandRptr. I took my biggest bit that would fit in a 3/8 drill. Just use Mikuni jets. It has good mid gains also. All pipes are good. You will see gains in all of them. Lets be real. Is there any one company thats does something so drastcally different that they have a huge advantage. I doubt it. Different pipes will give you different gains in various rpm ranges, but for the most part pick what you like and buy it. Is Trintiy better then Sparks or Yoshimira, Big Gun, CT? I think all these companys know what there doing when it comes to developing a pipe. You'll be happy w/ any of them...
