Blueleader- A man in your position should be running the Trinity pipe.

Here we go again.

i have rode and raced many raptors with many diffrent pipes. bottom line WITHOUT ENGINE MODS they are ALL very, very close when run with the same jetting and airbox mods. This is very unpopular with members who have spent big $$$ for full pipe set-ups...but it's the truth.

i have the FMF powercore with powerbomb header...at first i was'nt extremely impressed. after cutting up my air box and re-jetting it's as fast as any other pipe. Even the full CT setup. thats right. i said CT. we swapped quads and all that crap. In fact, i spent all of last summer getting to the bottom of this.

don't bother responding about how mr.owner of blahblah racing said otherwise. i don't care. i know what i've experienced first hand. the only real noticable change was the amount of noise coming out the end.

i personaly like the big gun. nice sound.

14mins,
shame on me! I have not even finished breaking my motor in yet but I will be done by the end of the weekend and I will be down to Trinity for that dam pipe!! I did 4 motors in the last month for other people just so they could keep up with me!! lol.

Anyway, it is beach/surf/mexico weather for me right now. Glamis sand dunes from October through April. I want summer to be over so I can go riding!!!

<< I looked at bill's pipes web site, some nice pitchers no info. What is so great about this pipe?? >>

Good points;
1, head pipes are same size as stockers. (don't lose any back pressure)
2, head pipes are ceramic coated inside and out. (helps machine run cooler)
3, only $380.00 (includes silencer, spark arrestor, head pipes, and jets)

I had a Big Gun and a CT Sonic before I bought my Bill's Pipe and the Bill's Pipe via the dyno produced the torque #'s throughout power band.

Look into of LRD pipe

I have one and it made a big gain then the one I used to have of White Bros E-series.
It quite and more troque and bigger broad band of power from bottom to top end.

I am happy with it.

Bill

I have the ProCircuit T4 and really like it. The ProCircuit T4, White Brothers E-Series, and FMF seam to make the most power of any of them at around 3500-4000 RPM, which sounds like what your looking for. The other pipes like CT, Trinity and Yosh make more power on top. I chose the ProCircuit T4 because of the power that it made with out any air box modes, and also that the head pipe and mid pipe are the same as stock. To me, this means realistic, easy to get power gains, with out having to worry about hacking up your air box, then trying to figure out the jetting like so many post that you see on here. I simply un-bolted the air box snorkel, and installed a high flow filter and a Dyno Jet kit. I may not be making the most HP, but I am making low to mid 40's with out any headaches. Jetting is right on, throttle response is great and I don't have to worry as much about my air filter.

SANDRPTR, The biggest gains in my X6 was in the mid range but I could feel more power on top & bottom also.I'm in the 45 HP range. When I'm cruising thru the dunes & punch it, the instant power is amazing!! I'm gonna have to get a swing arm extention to keep from killing myself!!

I got the full system with stainless header & spark arrestor, eRaptiod rode my Raptor when we hooked up at Little Sahara, He said he could tell that my quad had better mid range than his with just a WB slip on, He got a head pipe when he got home.

I also have the Dynojet kit & have no problems with the jetting.

Go to the Sparks Web Site Exhaust page to see the X6 on my Raptor (it's at the bottom of the page. the Raptor in the dunes), Go to the engine page to see it on Herbdons Raptor. The quality of the pipe is first class, it looks great & has a great but not overly loud roar to it.
The people at Sparks are great to work with, they answered all my questions, returned all my emails & calls (& there were a lot of them!). These guys have been building high performance quads & pipes for a long time & stand behind their parts, They said if I didn't like the pipe I could return it!! I still have it!!

My, how things have changed since I bought my Alba pipe. New end caps, custom needles and now pilots to. Still the best bang for your dollar IMO, check it out. My pipe with the disks, greatly improves low and mid range torque and power.

Alba pipe kit.
