I have an 01 Rap and have an 02 tranny, so I need to know what the gear ratios are for the 2002.

Does anybody have the 2002 Raptor shop manual?
If so, it should be on page 2-2 (atleast it is in the 2001 manual).

swytak, Here are the 02 gear ratios from the factory service manual 02 supplement,
1st~31/12 (2.583)
2nd~30/18 (1.667)
3rd~27/21 (1.286)
4th~22/21 (1.047)
5th~19/21 (0.904)
Rev~33/25 X 25/18 (1.883)

 

Is this what your looking for: 1st:31/12 2.583 2nd:30/18 1.667 3rd:27/21
1.286 4th:22/21 1.047 5th:19/21 0.904 Rev:33/25x25/18 1.833

EDIT: WAIT!!! What about the "primary reduction ratio"?
I don't think this changed, but I might as well ask: how about the Secondary reduction ratio?


I see that the only two gear ratios that didn't change from 01 to 02 is 4th and 5th.

1st, 2nd, 3rd and reverse did.

Thanks again, I am trying to learn some different ratios and MPH with sprocket and tire changes.

Secondary reduction ratio~40/13 (3.076)
There the same on 01's & 02's.

I will be the "blue Raptor" hahaha, like there won't be another blue one out there.
BUT, I will have stickers on the side of my tank that says, "Trinity Craptor". I am having a pair of "Craptor stickers" made for mine to show I truly have a sense of humor among other things.

Hope you make it, it looks like there wil be atleast a dozen or so Bombs (sand pigs) there. It should be alot of fun!
