ur mojave is better in the sand because it is lighter and can accelerate quicker if u both have stock tires. plus u get more air with the mojave and have a better turning radius in the sand

My good friend (partsman2) has a 650 and he is an excellent rider. I would bet on him with his 650 against any stock bike other than a sport bike (Raptor, Banshee, Z400, Cannondales, 400 EX, etc). Everytime we ride he man-handles that 650 in the tight trails and that bike with him riding impresses me everytime we hit the trails. One day I will own a 650, I have never been more surprised with one bike as I am with the 650.

HI GUY's
A P650 is a very formidable beast in every category...including climbing. I have climbed sand and gravel hills in a pit as fast as the z400 and raptors as well as a banshee !!! The p650 has 4x4 and a ton of hard hitting power.
The sport quads are all stock including tires. Granted the hills we climb are not sand-dunes that stretch out and you get a ton of speed going...so maybe in the sand dunes the sports would perform much better. Although I have read about a piped and jetted p650 beating stock raptors and banshees at sand dunes. IT WOULD HAVE TO BE ONE HELL OF A MOJAVE TO BEAT A P650 !!!

PS; the p650 that beat the banshees and raptors had 4 paddle track tires on it.

kawirob, the question is "which can climb a hill better in SAND?" My P650 $u(k$ in loose sand. A Mojave will kill a P650 in the sand!

I have personally seen a Prarie 650 take every crazy hill that my buddy did with his tricked out 400EX. The Mojave wouldn't stand a chance.

3TV, the only reason that CR500 didnt climb it was due to traction.
Throw a paddle on there and it would fly up that hill like it was flat... and launch off the top.
Im sure the Zilla would do much the same thing.

There isnt a hill steep enough that power is an issue with a Powervalved 500 2 stroke.
(CR, KX, or Zilla)
