i own a polaris expoler250....the guy i got it from must have taken the bolts the hold in the front diff. in place. Today a was riding and heard it start making funny noises, i thought nothing of it untill i tried to winch another riding out of a mud hole and the whole diff poped up, i got off the gas in time so no damage was done. I got the replavement bolts in, problem is now when i turn right it jerks to the left, but hwne i turn left nothing happens at all and nothing appears to be bent, my question is simple....WHAT THE HELL DID I DO NOW?!?!?!?

 

sounds like the half shaft spines came out of place. When the front gear case jumped up it pulled the splined half shaft out of the joint and it went back in incorrectly. not a very easy problem to fix i dont think. you have to take one of the two a-arms off and get the splined half shaft correctly back into join. but if you dont know which shaft came out then it is difficult.
