Going back to stock

Has anyone done any mods and then went back to stock, if so why(besides selling it). The local shop put in a modified HPD Clutch Kit and it slips belts(500 & 700)in high gear if I goose it from a stand still. Thinking about going back to stock. They gave me the stock helix but not the weights. Anyone know what grams the stock ones are(SP500 HO 2001)?
