I may be going to buy a new Rubicon in May when they come out. I was also looking at the new Rancher and was going to compare the stats to one another to make my final choice. The main thing I would like to know is if the 4wheel drive is optional where you can put in and out of 4wheel drive when ever you want.

 

Sorry but they do not have the optional 2x4 4x4 thing on ranchers or rubicons

I am also bummed about no 2WD..would be nice to be able to powerslide the thing. Also I am tossed between the awesome but expenive rubicon or the well priced powerful and fun Rancher

I came this close to buying a Grizzly this fall, but with the news release of the Rubicon I am going to wait until May as well. There is no substitute for Bigger CC's, and a 500 Honda will fit that need for me. The first thing I add when I buy a 4x4 Quad is a big-foot kit, I'm a firm believer in the taller tires and increased ground clearence they afford. If the Rubicon is like the other Hondas, it will need help in ground clearence. TF
