I noticed what appears to be a nice piston kit on Ebay, it says that it is a Namura Cast piston kit. I normally have heard that forged is much better, but this guys states that these case Namura pistons are better than the stock forged units.

Any opinions?

So is it more likely to blow up due to the cast piston?

Is this setup reliable at all, or just used for performance?

i wouldn't want to run a high compression motor with them. a lower HP bike should be fine.

Stock pistons are cast aren't they? My opinion is to run at least the same quality as stock if you are replacing parts. So, if stock were cast, I might consider running these.

Thanks,
