Tell them that you don't ride other peoples quads and they do not ride yours. I had a friend crash a new quad of mine and decided that good friends do not let friends ride their quads. We all know the feeling of somebody taking off on your quad. Nothing worse than watching some guy wheeling over on you quad or crashing into something and then saying sorry about that and walking away. It does happen. If you don't really know the person it should be no problem to just say you don't let other people ride your quad and if he gets mad so what. I have said no to many people even my own son. Another thing you can say is for them to go to a quad dealer and get a test ride if they want, that is what the dealers are for.

I carry insurance on my quad so I can always use the ol "Insurance does not cover you" phrase.

Raptor660....LMAO.

I just tell people no. Although my wife rides it, and each time my stomach is in knots till she gets back. Plus, she gets braver each time she rides. She hasn't gone out with me to the trails, just cruises through the neighborhood. But last time she had it out she went by the house and had to of been going 60+ mph. Also, the new DMC pipe has to bug the neighbors. It's just too frickin loud to be cruised in the neighborhood.

I only let people ride it that I "offer" it to. People that usually ask - I don't know them. I don't let strangers ride it - that's for sure. If I get to know the person ahead of time, I might offer, depends on how they treat their own sh_t?!

I agree with eraptoid. If I offer them to ride its my kinda my fault, but I only "offer" to people I know that can ride but my stomach is still in knots even with guys that have been riding since they were 5...

MY standard respose is You can ride it just leave a Credit Card, cause if something gets broken while your on it, WE go straight to the dealership for the repair.

I've lost so much money on letting "FRIENDS" ride, borrow things it pathetic.
