I have seen round two of the fast bombs. Not all bombs are fast, infact most are slow. But a few forum members have figured the DS's out. I was impressed with DSmike's and maniac650 AGAIN. Dsmike has done it without dropping thousands of dollars into his machine. Us raptor pilots are going to have to step up and get some more timing and head flow out of them. We are going to have to make power above 7500 rpm to play with the big DS boys. I hope it can be done. I love my raptor, it is such a friendly running machine.


I meet a few more forum members in Atoka last night, The moose, vlnrk, boxman, bansheeboy93, 98 more and more. I had a great time.

14mins, looking at the next level this week. I think last night was good for the 1st time out on a sand drag strip. The strip was nice and I like the way they groom it between just about every race. It was great to meet Moose and all the others again. DSmike is fast and 673 still amazes me with all the tinkering and tweaking he does. He will get to 5.0 I think. Who will be the first to break 5.0? DSmike is on the edge of it now and so is 650maniac. Who has a Raptor that does better than 5.0 in this forum? I know Azsand broke the 5 mark out west. I want to see who will do it in our part of the country.

 

the nitrous wasn't working. i still had a full bottle when i put it on the trailer. so the 5.36@57 wasn't bad with paddle tire problems and fuel problems.

i think that that charles randy and me will all hit the 4's next month. charles gets the NOS right and randy going to alky and if my bike doesn't run a 4.8's i will be let down. it wouldn't be that first time i've been let down either.

14mins, i should have my drag banshee running by then if so you can get on it if you want. it should be FAST. never can tell.

the frist time i dynoed the DS i was let down big time(54HP). so remember it takes time with anything raptor guys.



P.S.
the guy to watch out for will be scooby. if you think my bike is fast just think what i would do with a turbo and intercooler. we have the same motor but hes got alot more goodies. i've been sanded by him before.

DSmike- I would like to try out that shee. I had a great time last night. To bad the raptors were not on top.

I do not think scooby is a threat yet. He needs more than 300 ft.
