Can Dominators be converted into mean dirt tires?

Just a thought here, but could you screw sheet metal screw into the *****, starting from the inside of the tire and have them extend out about a half and inch? Kind of like golf shoes. Since the resale value of the dominators arent really worth it I was trying to think of a way to make them worthwhile. Would this make a great hook up for drag racing in the grass and dirt?

Order you some of those ice racing "screws" (or whatever they call 'em) and I think you put them in the "*****" from the outside of the tire so the bottom of the heads are flush with the stobbie thingies (*****). They have chisel type heads on them to cut into the ice and grab! I'm sure you can use them to shred anything you like - got any golf courses near by???
PS> You might need them at the drag races on the 21st if ya still comin!?!

I was wondering how the made those ice tires. They would shred pretty good but wouldn't help a lick at Haspin since theyre track is loose gravel/dirt. I would make you a set but I'd hate to see you hook up with all that power and grenade the new tranny . See ya there.

Things are good so far. I picked it back up this morning and everything is shifting fine. Still seems a little "sloppy", but it may be because the new gears are still breaking in?! I don't really expect it to be as "tight" and smooth as the original untouched stock gears.... so maybe I am just a little over cautious on how she's acting. But no more problems with it actually shifting into any of the gears. I think we have it all worked out now. I guess the Haspin ride will tell the tale, a good all day ride!

Up here we use Ski-Doo studs in our old tires for the winter, on occasion we end up with a leak but if you add a halk can of stop leak to each rear tire upon installation of the studs you shouldn't have any problems. It is not cheap to do though, but man oh man will that ever give you all sorts of bite! Be sure to brill the holes through the **** on the tire, not in between them, cause then they will leak for sure.

if you decide to put ice screw threw the *****, make sure you find some old tires, cut the sidewall out and put it on the inside so when you put the screw in it bites into the sidewall of the old tires, then put it back on the rim, put in some slime, then your ready to go, DO NOT JUST PUT THEM IN THE *****! i know somebody who did that and they just flew out
