Hey guys. I've noticed that some banshees have a 2-1 airbox for 1 air filter or 2 different air filers in the box. Is there any difference in performance? If so, is it worth changing over to 2 filters? And should I run it with out a lid on my airbox? Does it get more air that way? Thanks to anyone to replys

I have not seen two filters in an airbox, but that does not mean it does not exist. I just have not seen it.

I am a duner, so I went with 2 k&n clamp on air filters. No airbox. I like it so far.

The 2:1 that I have seen is the toomey, and it does away with the airbox also. It uses a foam uni filter, but I think a k&n is also available.

If you must use keep the airbox, get a pro-design flange, or I think uni makes one also, and then a k&n and outerwear and lose the lid. Yes it will breath better and you will have to jet up a couple sizes also.

They clamp directly on the carb, where the airbox does. You have to remove your airbox, and coolant overflow, or buy or make a bracket for the coolant tank. It is up to you.

You can buy them directly from rocky mtn atv, for $59.95 with outerwears. That is what I have and they are great.

I bought a cool little bracket from rcky mtn that has a place to hold to spark plugs.
