Honda HP or 10-40w (motor oil)?

Who uses Honda HP (for 2 cycle motor oil) trans oil, and who uses just plain old 10-40w? Can you use synthetic on the 10-40w? I hear it is about 50-50. Is it trans oil or motor oil? Not usre of the correct term [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
