Could anyone tell me how to get the cover off of the back brakes?
Do you have to unscrew the axle, if so do you need to mark it to get it back into the same place or just what do you do?
I am a fairly good mechanic on a car, but not much on ATV'S. Any help out there.

Remove the tire & hub, and then unscrew the 2 large nuts on the right side of the axle. I use a couple of pipe wrenches. Be careful with the wrench on the axle, as it can scar it up. Then just remove the brake drum housing, and there you are.
