id like to know what changes you made to the carbs and how much improvement it made.

 

I am running Alky through the FCR on my 250X. It has been about two years since I put this setup on so I might have forgotten some of what I did. I do know that you will need to change the pilot and main jets, the slide needle, remove one air jet, drill out the other. The added low end was amazing. I first ran the 410 on gas then changed to alky. It runs so cool that I can't ride it in below 35 degree weather. I tried last year, and it was doing fine until I got it out and opened it up. The cool air pulled all of the heat away, and made it richen up and start sputtering.

As I tell people, you burn twice as much Alky as gas, so you have twice the ring wash. Just something to keep in mind.
