Finally got the mojave back together this weekend. Installed the 330 kit and somehow one of the valves went through the top of the piston. I know it uses the warrior orings for the water jacket. Does it use a warrior piston?

hhmm....Ole valve threw the piston trick aye, not good.

Lakota's is a 80mm wiesco, but not sure of the mojave's. Measure it and call wiesco.

How did you put the valve threw the piston?

I'm not really sure how it happened. It has brand new valves, guides, seals, springs, cams have been reground, cdi reprogrammed, wiseco piston and rings, motor was machined for big bore kit, works shocks, yellow powdercoated frame, 20" razors, 22" razors, douglas .190 aluminum rims, and many other things that have been purchased since february. I finally got it back together saturday and sunday. I noticed that after the cams got sent to mickey dunlap, the decompression spring disappeared. So there was no decompression release. I don't know if that had anything to do with it. When i would kick it over every time when it got to top dead center it would lock up if both cams flattened out on the valves. Not sure why. Timing is dead on. Everything was installed correctly. It started after pulling it with a truck then clank clank clank. I don't know if the machine shop maybe took too much off the head now it's got too much stroke? I'm going to try to get a hold of mickey dunlap tonight but it is almost impossible.

How much did you pull off the head. That sounds very interesting.

I believe you will now have to re check valve clearences.

I found out what the problem was last night. I was using the vesrah valves. They are much harder than stock. It also had something to do with the springs in the 330 kit. So you have to use the stock valves. I would have never thought but they have tested the kits at four stroke tech and that is just the way they have to be set up. So I'm sending back my piston and ordering new valves. I'll have to wait a couple weeks before I can try to crank it over again.
