Guys i'm stepping down a size on my A-arms and looking for recommendations or feedback on what else is out there.

i now have +3 LOnestars with elka triple rates. (great foor the track. bad for the trails)

i will be keeping the elkas of course.
Burgard was one recommendation...anyone using them?

I can hook you up with the Timmyboys +2+1 foward powdercoated in stock for 635.00 including shipping to your door within a week.
I also have a set of +2 +1 chromed used for the same price.

Let me just give you a little more insight to stay away from the Burgards I guess the easy way to tell you is just to look at how they are built and you'll see what I'm saying.
I think they would hold up on a TT track or sand dunes but not trail and jumping.
You might also want to look at Houser arms A lot of guys in the GNCC are running them.

Kind of off topic, but none the less thought it was important.

I cannot confirm this, but just heard very recently that TimmyBoy is in a bad legal situation.

Here is the post I read: Again just a FYI only.

I inform all of you you that the 15th May 2002 i have placed an order to TimmyBoy to purchase 2 sets of +2/+1 A-Arms for Raptor and 1 set of +3/+1 for Raptor also, and ten days later i also have ordered 4 Renthal sprockets of 15 Teeth and also 4 Case savers.

The 22th May 2002 he charged to my Visa $ 855 USD as a 50% of my order to start making the A-Arms, and the 12th June 2002 he charged to my Visa $1354.60 USD
as the rest of the order including the sprockets and case savers and shipping by UPS.

After thousands of excuses and pretextes and falses dates of shipping and promissing to send me the track number of the shipping, and send me an e-mail dated 30th July telling me that he has legal problems...Nowadays i haven't received anything yet (28th August 2002). I Try to phone him, but i only get the Automatic Phone Answer.

All this things makes me feel swindle and also makes me to be in doubt about the seriousity of Timmy Boy Designs enterprise.

Is for that reason that i inform all of us, 'cos when we talk in the forums about Timmy Boy Products you will know about the null and void confidence that all us will have about its products.

I hope you will take note about this Cheat or Swindle. I have all the papers, the Bank extracts and all the e-mails we have interchanged, to demostrate it. I would apreciate if you could investigate a little about his legal problems and advertise all the members about the actual situation of TimmyBoy Designs, Because i won't like to see more members in the same situation as i.

I have sended him an ultimatum e-mail advertising him of all the actions i will start, like the letters in magazines (4wheel ATV action, Dirtwheelsmag...) letters to the Embassy of USA-SPAIN,etc... It's the only force i have, juridical movements....papers...papers....and more papers.

Feel free to ask me for any information or any paper.

Congratulations for this site and for the last version of the site!!! and excuse me for my English...but i'm from Spain and we own a Quad Club and we're inconditionals fans of your forums, things roll!!!

I hope it isn't true, but just beware if your considering ordering from them.

Is anyone racing the GNCC circuit w +2 a arms? I know the hot setup for 400ex is +1 a arms, and w those a arms the width of a 400ex is 47.7 inches, now if you increase the Raps width from the stock 43.5 inches w +2 a arms you are still more narrow at 47.5 inches than the 400ex, yet some people are telling me the +2 is too wide for a rap running GNCC? Any feedback?
