My dad has always purchased Hondas. I'm very familiar with the Rubicon. I want to know which is the best all-around big utility ATV to purchase and why. I need to use it for pulling a field culivator and just for fun. I've driven a Rubicon, and a 700 Polaris. I thought the 700 was bulky and clumsy but pulled like a mule. The Rubicon seems nice but I like more get-up-and-go. I thought about the Rincon but my local dealer did not recommend it for pulling. My cousins in Alaska own a Grizzly and love but I've never been on one. Which four wheeler is the best out of the big dogs and why. The brands I've mentioned are the only ones I'm familiar with. Please feel free to suggest other brands. I'm a bit anxious with the idea of owning a belt driven machine, but honda is the only manufacture that isn't belt driven. I like/want: two and four-wheel drive option, low and high range, must be liquid cooled, don't like belts but I think I will have to accept it, must have low end torque but also like speed when playing, prefer an independent rear suspension but don't like the poor handeling of machines with independent rear suspension like the polaris 700 when turning, limiters bother me, reliabily is a must. I wonder if there will be some manufactures getting away from the belt, besides honda, in the near future? Are there certain manufactures that have problems with their belt driven ATVs? I will be buying a machine in two weeks, but I could wait if something new and exciting will be ought in the near future.

All suffestions and insite will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Shep

Look at the Kawi 650 if you can live without a independant rear suspension. Twice the power with three times better brakes for less $$$ than a Rubicon.

I have had several quads with belt drive and I have never had a prolem with a belt. Just pull in LOW and there will be no problems. Ask FARMER123 in the Polaris section and he can tell you because he is a farmer.
