bearings falling out of 250R

we were out riding yeasterday and the bearings fell ou of the front hub on my friends 88 250R has anybody ever had this happen/hard of this happiningand what can be done to prevent it from happing. thanks for any help

Blastermaster- They probably went bad and needed replacing before he even went riding. Its good to check them before each ride. Just stand the quad up on its bumper and wiggle the tires back and forth. If they are loose or shake around they need to be replaced. Tell him to go to the Honda shop and get some new ones and he should be back riding again.
