I dont know if this will take it off, but try S2000 cleaner available at any local shop. I use it to clean my quad, it works really good, other wise, good ol elbow grease with a parts brush and some brake cleaner. Hope I helped

You can also try Gunk engine cleaner. Do not get this on any plastic or painted sufaces. Used to use this years ago to clean dirty car engines.

Yeah Gunk is great it takes off grease/ gas build-up easily. Get just the Gunk brand because others aren't comparable. I've also found that Gunk Foam works better than the regular, my grandpa always told me that you could spray it down with diesel fuel and wash it off 24hrs later and it would be spotless, never tryed it.

I had my first experience with Purple Power last night. A friend soaked his SBC pistons that had 2 seasons of carbon build up on them for about 15 minutes. They carbon could then be washed off with a garden hose. Parts stores should handle it.

Try the S2000 stuff, it works amazingly well - better than anything else that I've ever tried.
