2004 Honda's
#1
That Honda banner on here got my attention. So, I clicked for a look. The new Rancher AT looks good to me. I'll be in the market for a new 4x4 by spring.
If anyone has heard what kind of price tag this thing is going to have, please let me know.
Also how do you guys like the Honda auto tranny?

3TV,
I see you have a Kodiak 450 4x4 listed. That is what I figured I would get. $6,199+ is the best price I have been able to find. Is that too much?
My second choice was a Kawasaki Prairie 360 4x4. I like the idea of differential lock and engine braking that both of these are equiped with. Which do you prefer since you have a Kawi and a Yamaha?

3TV,
Thanks for your reply. I been busy lately and haven't had time to get back on here. After going and looking at both of these machines side by side,(we have a Kawasaki Yamaha dealer) I like the Kodiak much better than the 360 Prairie. The fit and finish just seems much better, looks are better and of course you get quite a few more cc's!
But, I am with you on the differential locker. I have a John Deere AMT 600 (old version of Gator) with differential lock on th back 4 tires. It has a heel pedal for a locker. It goes in instant and comes out instant. Basically the same idea as the Kawi. The linkage could use a little adjustment after a good bit of use. It slips when it's engaged sometimes now. But, I'll take a simple design any day over a complex one. Just more expensive if it breaks. I don't mind to adjust it.
