hey, has anyone tried the gp control system where you can change the mapping while your riding? if so, how well does it work (can you tell a difference between the maps) and how much does it cost?

The map select is avalible for Optima and I think it's abut 1,300. I sure wish they would lower the price so more of use could get it. Oh, well time to crush some aluminum cans. LOL

In my opinion the Map Select, while a cool option, is mainly a gimmick. Save your money for some aftermarket suspension or other real goodies.

I kinda agree with 1986atc250r on this one. I would first put my money into the suspension and pipe system. After all that is done and your looking to add more then go with the 3-1 mapping kit. It's a nice option, I don't have it yet, but have test rode one with it and it is nice. My big concern is racing with it in the woods and posibity flipping or hitting something that might break the switches, since they run $150 per switch.
